Accessibility statement

Last reviewed: 25 September 2026

Our commitment

VM345 Distribution should work for every artist and label, including people who use a screen reader, navigate by keyboard, magnify the screen, use voice control, or are sensitive to motion. This statement covers visionmedia345.com and the artist, label and staff dashboards behind it.

The standard we aim for

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the level referenced by EN 301 549, the European standard used under the European Accessibility Act.

Where we are

Partially conformant. Most of the site meets WCAG 2.1 AA, but some parts do not yet, listed under known limitations below.

What we have done

  • Every page starts with a "Skip to main content" link, and uses headings and landmarks a screen reader can navigate by.
  • Every form field has a visible label, and requirements such as password rules are shown before you submit, not only after an error.
  • Links, buttons and fields show a visible outline when reached by keyboard.
  • Images carry text alternatives, and purely decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
  • Secondary text meets the 4.5:1 contrast ratio on every background, and small controls such as the show-password button have a target of at least 24 by 24 pixels.
  • Animations stop when your device is set to reduce motion.
  • The site has light and dark themes, and text can be zoomed to 200% in the browser.
  • We test the main pages with automated WCAG 2.1 AA checks (axe-core) and fix what they find.

Known limitations

  • Main buttons. White text on our red brand colour has a contrast ratio of 3.9:1, below the 4.5:1 WCAG AA asks for at that text size. A darker red that passes clashes with the red we use for errors, and we are working on a replacement.
  • Dashboards. The public pages, sign-in and password reset have been audited. The dashboards, in particular the release wizard, tables and analytics charts, have not yet been fully reviewed, and some charts do not yet have a text alternative.
  • Services we embed. The cookie banner and policy texts (Consently), the security check on sign-in forms (Cloudflare Turnstile), identity verification (Didit), payments (Stripe) and video players (YouTube and Vimeo) are provided by other companies. We cannot change their interfaces directly. If one of them stops you, contact us and we will help another way.
  • Content added by users. Cover art, release titles and other content come from artists and labels. Cover art is described by its release title; we do not check other uploaded content for accessibility.

Tell us about a problem

If something on the site is hard or impossible for you to use, or you need information in another format, email support@visionmedia345.com with “Accessibility” in the subject. Tell us the page, what you were trying to do, and the browser or assistive technology you use. We aim to reply within five working days. You can also reach us through the help centre.

If you are in the European Union and are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the authority in your country responsible for enforcing the European Accessibility Act.

How this statement was prepared

This is a self-assessment made on 25 September 2026. We ran automated WCAG 2.1 A and AA checks with axe-core on the home, pricing, distribution, help centre, about, terms, sign-in and password reset pages, fixed the issues they found except those listed above, and checked keyboard access to the skip link, the navigation and the sign-in form. We will review this statement at least once a year and whenever the site changes significantly.

The site relies on HTML, WAI-ARIA, CSS and JavaScript, and is built for current versions of the major browsers.
